">Key Responsibilities:">

  • QA Strategy & Planning">
    • ">
    • Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and validation procedures aligned with product requirements.">
    • Define QA processes, methodologies, and best practices for embedded hardware and firmware testing.">
    • Establish quality metrics and reporting mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement.">
    ">
  • Test Execution & Infrastructure">
    • ">
    • Lead setup and management of testing infrastructure including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), programmable loads, current measurement instruments, power supplies etc.">
    • Define and conduct functional, regression, stress, and reliability testing on hardware and firmware.">
    • Drive automation of test processes wherever possible.">

  • Collaboration & Leadership">
    • ">
    • Work closely with hardware, firmware, and product engineering teams to understand design specifications and translate them into test requirements.">
    • Lead and mentor QA engineers in test execution, troubleshooting, and documentation.">
    • Act as the quality advocate ensuring products meet reliability and performance standards before release.">

  • Problem Solving & Reporting">
    • ">
    • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and collaborate with design teams to resolve issues.">
    • Prepare QA reports and provide clear feedback to stakeholders.">
    • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external certifications (if applicable).">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • 3+ years of QA experience in electronics/embedded systems.">
  • Strong knowledge of electronics testing tools: oscilloscopes, DMMs, power analyzers, electronic loads, etc.">
  • Familiarity with firmware and hardware design principles (MCUs, sensors, communication protocols like UART, I2C, SPI, MQTT).">
  • Experience in test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.">
  • Ability to set up and maintain test infrastructure for embedded hardware validation.">
  • Hands-on knowledge of debugging embedded systems using tools like logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD debuggers, tracing tools or protocol analyzers.">
  • Exposure to test automation for hardware/firmware validation (Python/Embedded test frameworks mandatory).">
