Job Description:

The primary objective is to lead technical delivery of Electrical and Electronics related projects ensuring high-quality results. This involves driving PCBA Risk mitigation strategies, executing projects for Electronics commodities at the product level, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Responsible for technical project execution and ownership from scoping to implementation.
  • Implement technically sophisticated projects requiring knowledge of compliance requirements and regulatory testing.
  • Proficient in synthesising electronic component specifications into product fitment.
  • Design digital, mix signal & power electronics circuit boards that meet design requirements.
  • Agility to work on multiple simultaneous projects and tasks to suit business needs.
  • Provide Plan A, Plan B options and drive design trade-off analysis meeting diverse product requirements.
  • Build design documents for review, verification plans mapping to key performance and reliability requirements.
  • Verify design performance qualifying requirements, meeting manufacturability and serviceability targets.

Collaborate closely with multi-domain teams to ensure product development meets regulatory, safety, environmental, reliability, thermal, and interface standard compliance requirements.

Work with the sourcing team and suppliers to coordinate manufacturing and provide detailed requirements for FCT (First Component Test) of PCBA to ensure production line output meets design requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent understanding of Electrical and Electronics Engineering fundamentals.
  • Ability to drive decisions through design and simulation tools.
  • Conceptualise design architectures, identify challenges, and apply self-learning to derive component functioning.
  • Independently conceptualise and run design calculations to prove design feasibility.
  • Collaborate and drive concepts, trade-off analysis, and leads component selection to meet technical specifications.
  • Actively contribute to design analysis and simulation ensuring design optimisation and confirmation to requirements.
  • Capture schematic based on design document and input.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with a proven track record exceeding 6 years.
  • Knowledge of circuit design and simulation tools.
  • Handle low to medium complexity projects independently with ability to provide mentorship to early talent.
Desirable:
  • Acquaintance in Project Management.
  • C/C++ Embedded Programming.
  • Basic understanding of FPGA-based Design and programming using HDL.
