Job Title: Electronics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex circuits, including those with multiple components and integrated circuits, to identify potential issues and optimize system performance.
  • Solder various electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, ICs, and connectors, onto PCBs with precision, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Rework and repair PCBs, including desoldering components and making modifications as needed, to ensure timely delivery and quality results.
  • Accurately place components on PCBs, ensuring correct orientation and alignment, to prevent defects and reduce rework.
  • Understand the differences between analog and digital circuit schematics and read each type effectively, applying this knowledge to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in electronic systems.
  • Recognize and identify various electronic components on a schematic, including resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, and integrated circuits, and apply this knowledge to evaluate different solutions and approaches.
  • Evaluate different solutions and approaches to determine the most effective one, considering the strengths and weaknesses of each option, to deliver high-quality results.
  • Apply enhanced problem-solving skills to tackle complex and challenging issues, using analytical and creative thinking to develop innovative solutions.
  • Use schematics to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in electronic systems, identifying potential points of failure, and conduct standard tests, document results, and identify discrepancies.
  • Identify potential electrical hazards and conduct risk assessments to implement appropriate control measures, ensuring a safe working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working with electronic components, including soldering, desoldering, and component placement.
  • Familiarity with circuit analysis, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
  • Knowledge of electronic design automation tools and software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
