We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Marriott International. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to lead our kitchen operations and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all food-related functions, including menu development, inventory management, and staff supervision. They will work closely with our culinary team to ensure high-quality products, presentation, and service standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in leading kitchen operations, providing direction for day-to-day activities and ensuring seamless execution of menus and events.
- Develop and implement guidelines for purchasing, receiving, and food storage to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Train and mentor junior chefs, promoting knowledge sharing, and skill development within the team.
- Collaborate with our catering and banquet teams to provide exceptional service and tailored solutions for clients.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a senior chef position, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation, with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with colleagues, guests, and external partners.
