**Job Overview**:
As a Junior Sous Chef specializing in healthy food, you will play a key role in the preparation and presentation of health-focused dishes. You will collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine menus that align with our commitment to nutrition, quality, and flavor. Your expertise in healthy cooking techniques and ingredients will be crucial in delivering dishes that are not only nutritious but also visually appealing and delicious.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes with a focus on healthy ingredients and techniques.
- Contribute to menu planning and recipe development, incorporating fresh, seasonal, and nutrient-rich ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation in compliance with industry regulations.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff on healthy cooking practices and portion control.
- Monitor inventory and assist in managing supplies, reducing food waste, and optimizing costs.
- Stay current with industry trends in healthy and sustainable cuisine, introducing innovative ideas and techniques.
- Ensure proper portioning and plating to meet dietary requirements and presentation standards.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or similar role, with a focus on healthy or wellness-oriented cuisine.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience; specialization in nutrition or dietetics is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques that preserve nutrients, such as steaming, grilling, and roasting.
- Familiarity with special dietary requirements (e.g., gluten-free, vegan, low-calorie, etc.).
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- A passion for healthy eating and creating innovative dishes that cater to health-conscious diners.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the kitchen team.
