Industrial Health and Environmental Specialist

Job Overview
This role focuses on providing a safe working environment for employees.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills to investigate incidents, identify causes and preventive measures, and implement corrective actions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Incident Investigation: Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine their root causes and develop effective prevention strategies.
- Safety Audits: Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Training and Development: Provide new employees with comprehensive occupational health, safety, and environmental orientation to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Equipment Management: Manage the procurement of personal protective equipment and safety inventory in a financially responsible manner.
- Risk Assessment: Regularly review environmental aspects and impacts across the facility to understand environmental risks and develop operational control procedures accordingly.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Industrial Safety or Diploma in Industrial Safety from Regional Labour Institute (RLI).
- Experience: 9-12 years of experience, including 4-5 years in FMCG industries.
- Skills: Familiarity with EMS and OHSMS standards.
