Job Title: Environmental Safety Specialist
">We are seeking an experienced Environmental Safety Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental health and safety management, with a proven track record of implementing effective safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Investigate incidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measures">
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards">
- Develop and implement EHS SOPs and instructions for horizontal deployment">
- Direct, supervise, and evaluate the work activities of medical and nursing staff in the Occupational Health Centre">
- Advise on safety aspects in the design and use of plant, equipment, and systems of work">
- Enforce work permits and lock-out-tag-out (LOTO) procedures">
- Review and analyze environmental aspects and impacts across the facility to understand environmental risks">
- Develop Operational Control Procedures, Work Instructions, Environmental Management Programs, Objectives, and Targets based on risk factors">
- Monitor and report safety KPIs, analyze trends, and ensure progress">
Audit and Compliance:
">The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 compliance. This will involve conducting regular audits, reviewing procedures, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
">Requirements:
">To be considered for this role, you will need:
">- ">
- M.E./M.Tech in Industrial Safety from a recognized and approved college or Diploma in Industrial Safety from Regional Labour Institute (RLI)">
- 9-12 years' experience with 4-5 years in FMCG industries">
- Knowledge of EMS & OHSMS">
