We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Operations Manager to join our team at Mouser Electronics.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and leadership, with the ability to manage daily operations, staff, and customer relationships to deliver exceptional results.
This is a challenging role that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective customer service strategies, managing daily operations, and leading a team of customer service representatives.
About the RoleThis role involves:
- Managing assigned customer service office with integrity and ethical business practices, in accordance with Mouser policies and procedures.
- Providing support for other departments and branches as needed.
- Developing and maintaining a productive work team by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance.
- Delivering exceptional customer service that gratifies and astonishes customers.
- Developing results-oriented customer service strategies.
- Managing daily operations to meet department and company objectives and pursue business opportunities beyond customer requests.
- Setting and tracking goals.
- Understanding and correctly working with multiple currencies, profit margins, markups, competitive pricing strategies, and other requirements for processing international orders.
- Expanding product knowledge using all available sources.
- Staying current regarding industry trends, practices, and news.
- Effectively interacting and communicating with people at all levels, initiating and maintaining relationships with internal and external business contacts of various cultures.
- Demonstrating detailed and thorough work habits with multi-tasking ability.
- Showing strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and teaching skills.
- Working with minimal supervision, making independent judgments.
- Accurately, thoroughly, and timely reporting progress.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field or minimum 3 years prior work experience relevant to the team being supervised.
- External candidates: Minimum 2 years as a supervisor or higher-level management position.
This role involves bilingual communication (local language and English) and proficiency in typing and math skills, including currency conversions and profit margins. Strong professional writing and presentation skills are also required, along with experience in Microsoft Windows, internet email, Microsoft Office, and other software.
Able to adapt to changing business needs and willing to take on new responsibilities and assignments.
Estimated Salary$62,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
