The Vice President, Endpoint Solutions (ES), Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), is a critical leadership role that drives business growth and development in the region. The incumbent will lead the ES Business Unit (BU) and guide co-workers at all levels to achieve strategic and financial goals.


This is a matrixed role, requiring collaboration with country and functional leadership to achieve regional objectives. The incumbent will also be responsible for managing a group of technologies and overseeing strategic relationships with vendors and business partners within the APJ region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Set the strategic direction for the BU in the APJ region, in conjunction with global and regional leadership, to drive business growth and development.
  • Business Planning: Own the development of the BU's divisional business plans, including the preparation of the APJ Endpoint Solutions annual plan, to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Market Development: Identify market growth opportunities and build plans to capitalize on them, ensuring the expansion of product lines and additional countries within the region.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the annual financial commitment (AFC) for the ES BU and achieve market share and growth targets.
  • Channel Development: Develop key channel relationships to drive business growth and development.
  • Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal key stakeholders up to APJ and Global BU levels to promote the business unit and its objectives.
  • Culture Development: Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement, promoting a culture of servant leadership behaviors and team development.
  • Recruitment and Talent Management: Recruit, lead, manage, and coach co-workers to achieve BU objectives, ensuring the development of key talent and leadership skills.
  • Customer Management: Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction and success.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity, providing feedback to company leadership and other company functions.

Requirements

  • Experience: 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience, with 10 to 15 years of direct employee management experience.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the assigned business unit, including experience in managing P&L with profitability.
  • Skills: Ability to plan and think strategically, make fast decisions, and plan and review business at regional and/or global levels. Skilled in building relationships at executive levels with cross-business and cross-functional impact and influence.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
