Overview

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in corporate communications or public relations to join our team as a Senior Communications Strategist. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience in managing accounts involving international and domestic clients, and will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality written work, including quarterly coverage plans, briefing notes, and op-eds.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of consultants to deliver world-class public relations and communications support to a range of international and Indian clients. This includes attending client calls, building rapport with clients, delegating tasks effectively, and ensuring that deadlines are met.

You will also be responsible for advising clients on major economic and political trends in South Asia, producing daily summaries of work completed by the team, and assisting with pitch proposals for new clients.

Requirements
  • At least seven years of experience in corporate communications, strategic communications, or public relations
  • A strong track record of leading on accounts involving both international and domestic clients, and managing more junior staff
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of major economic and political trends in South Asia
  • An existing network of good journalistic contacts across Indian Tier One publications and financial and trade publications

We offer a competitive salary of $3,500-$4,000 per month, dependent on experience, plus benefits.
