Job Title: IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management of cloud services, ensuring optimal performance, cost efficiency, and compliance with data protection regulations. This role involves strategic IT planning, cloud services management, hardware and infrastructure oversight, internal IT support services, team leadership, stakeholder communication, continuous improvement, service development and management, budgeting and financial management, risk management, asset management, security management, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for IT operations to support business goals, focusing on scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Oversee the management of cloud services (OCI, GCP, AWS) to ensure optimal performance, cost efficiency, and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Manage the procurement, maintenance, and lifecycle of hardware resources, including laptops, AIO systems, etc.
  • Manage internal IT service desk operations and performance, motivating team members to prepare incident reports, carry out audits, and follow daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
  • Hire, mentor, and lead a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a key IT contact for internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on IT initiatives, challenges, and achievements, and collaborating closely with other business units.
  • Continuously assess and improve IT operations processes and practices to increase efficiency and meet evolving business needs.
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of services.
  • Develop and manage the division's budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources while driving ROI.
  • Identify potential risks in the areas of technology and security, devising and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Manage networks, network security, wireless information security requirements, application delivery, and G Suite.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and incident reviews, owning vulnerability management and patching policies, and proactively identifying weaknesses and vulnerabilities in the network infrastructure using security logs, network analysis, and observations.
  • Develop and maintain team KPIs, helping teams prioritize efforts and ensure they align with the overall direction of the company.
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, and operate a wide range of IT infrastructure security management processes, policies, and procedures, drafting and reviewing comprehensive technical specifications, manuals, and other user documentation.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of hosting cloud service providers like AWS, GCP, OCI, Azure, etc.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to strategize, plan, and execute IT initiatives aligned with business objectives.
