**Job Title:** Government Sales Manager
">About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to lead our enterprise IT sales efforts across government departments, public sector units, and system integrators.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling enterprise solutions, including servers, storage, networking, data center solutions, and cybersecurity offerings. With at least 5 years of proven field sales experience in the government and PSU segment, the candidate should be adept at managing end-to-end sales cycles-right from lead generation to closure-while building and nurturing strategic relationships with key decision-makers.
A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is essential. The role demands a deep understanding of customer IT infrastructure requirements and the ability to align them with appropriate solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation to closure.
- Building and nurturing strategic relationships with key decision-makers.
- Aligning customer IT infrastructure requirements with appropriate solutions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, along with the ability to collaborate with OEMs and channel partners. Preference will be given to individuals with exposure to large government tenders, rate contracts, and empanelment processes, and those who bring existing relationships within the target segment. While educational background is not a constraint, demonstrated field sales success in the enterprise IT space is a must.
