Senior Technical Lead - Ruby on Rails Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead to lead our team of software developers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of complex software applications, ensuring they meet high quality standards and are delivered on time.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of software developers in the design, development, and testing of software applications
  • Oversee the implementation of technical solutions to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software applications
  • Mentor junior developers to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve software development processes
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to developers
  • Help resolve complex technical challenges within the project
  • Participate in the development of core application components
  • Ensure smooth integration of different software modules and services
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
  • B.S. in Computer Science or other technical discipline
  • Strong experience with Ruby on Rails in customer-facing applications
  • Database knowledge: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
  • Experience building applications at scale in AWS
