Our organization is seeking a skilled Security and Compliance Specialist to help clients safeguard their data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough security and privacy assessments for clients to identify vulnerabilities and risks, recommending strategies to mitigate these threats.
  • Develop and implement robust security policies and procedures to protect sensitive information, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security and privacy concerns, fostering a culture of data protection and compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance on improving data protection and privacy practices, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and local laws.
  • Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on security and privacy best practices, promoting a proactive approach to data protection.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and tools, ensuring our solutions are effective and efficient in addressing client needs.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 2-6 years of experience in security and compliance consulting or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of information security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
  • Experience with data protection regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Knowledge of security technologies and tools (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly valued but not required.
