Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security expert to spearhead our efforts in protecting sensitive data.

  • Deploying Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions on servers, endpoints, and cloud services is crucial in ensuring data confidentiality and integrity.
  • Troubleshooting agent-related issues with the IT team is essential in maintaining seamless system performance.
  • Configuring DLP policies and rules for network and endpoint DLP to identify and protect sensitive data requires a deep understanding of data protection regulations.
  • Ensuring the DLP solution is integrated with existing security tools and infrastructure is vital in enhancing overall security posture.
  • Developing DLP policies based on organizational data protection requirements involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align security measures with business objectives.
  • Classifying and categorizing data to apply appropriate DLP rules necessitates a thorough understanding of data classification frameworks.
  • Regularly reviewing and updating DLP policies to address new threats and business needs ensures that our security controls remain effective.
  • Conducting periodic audits to ensure DLP policies are effectively enforced is critical in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Generating reports for compliance audits, highlighting data protection measures and incidents provides valuable insights into our security program's effectiveness.
  • Providing regular updates to senior management on the effectiveness of the DLP program demonstrates our commitment to transparency and accountability.
  • Conducting training sessions for employees on data protection best practices and DLP policies empowers them to make informed decisions about data handling.
  • Raising awareness about the importance of data security and how to handle sensitive information fosters a culture of security within the organization.
  • Working closely with IT, legal, and compliance teams to align DLP policies with business objectives ensures that our security measures are aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborating with data owners to understand data flows and protection requirements facilitates data-driven decision making.

This role requires 4-9 years of experience in SOC operations, DLP, and Forcepoint technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of data protection regulations, including GDPR and HIPAA.

The base location for this role is Bangalore, and the professional is required to work from the office. This is a mandatory client deputation role.
