Data Protection Expert

Are you passionate about data protection and compliance? Do you have experience in designing and implementing data privacy programs?

We are seeking a skilled Data Protection Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting current state assessments of clients' data protection programs against leading standards and frameworks such as ISO 27701, NIST DPF, GAPP, and applicable privacy laws and regulations.

You will design and develop the data protection framework, ensuring it is aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will also be instrumental in identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance our clients' data protection posture.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct data protection program assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Design and develop data protection frameworks and policies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data protection compliance
  • Evaluate and implement emerging data protection trends and technologies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Law, IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Data Protection
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Information Security with a minimum of 3+ years of working experience in Data Protection projects
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful data protection programs
  • Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, ISO 27701 LI are a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of global data protection regulations, especially GDPR, Middle East Privacy Laws, and GAPP
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
