We are seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity expert to join our team as a Data Protection Specialist.

Job Description:

This is a 6-month contract role focused on designing and operationalizing data protection processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Data Protection Process Design: Develop comprehensive data protection processes to identify, classify, and protect sensitive data across the organization.
  • Standard Operating Procedure Creation: Draft and implement templatized SOPs for data analysis, ensuring consistency and focus on risk reduction.
  • Process Automation: Identify and coordinate automation opportunities within data protection to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Reporting: Provide detailed reports to management stakeholders, highlighting addressed risks, process improvements, and actionable insights.
  • Team Training: Conduct training sessions for team members to ensure proper understanding and execution of data protection processes.
  • Process Handover: Ensure a smooth transition by handing over established data protection processes to relevant teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in data security and data discovery.
  • Strong background in designing and operationalizing data protection processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in developing SOPs, analysis templates, and identifying automation requirements.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with management stakeholders and team members.
  • Experience in training and knowledge transfer to team members.
