Our company seeks an experienced and skilled data protection specialist to join our team. As a trusted advisor, you will play a key role in elevating our organization's privacy maturity and compliance posture.
- Lead the review and operationalization of policies, processes, and procedures related to privacy and data governance to ensure they are current, relevant, and effective.
- Direct the development and implementation of privacy compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with relevant regulations and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure privacy considerations are integrated into business strategies, product development, and operational practices.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A proven track record of experience in data protection roles in a senior capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and others relevant to our operational geographies.
- Experience in governance, risk management, and compliance within technology-driven environments, particularly relating to AI.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
