Data Protection Strategist

We are seeking a skilled Data Protection Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data privacy and protection, with experience in designing and implementing data protection strategies.

Job Description

The Data Protection Strategist will be responsible for conducting current state assessments of clients' data protection programs against leading standards and frameworks. This will involve analyzing existing policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and developing recommendations for enhancement. Additionally, the Data Protection Strategist will design and develop data protection frameworks and roadmaps to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

  • Conduct current state assessments of clients' data protection programs against leading standards and frameworks such as ISO 27701, NIST DPF, and GAPP.
  • Design and develop data protection frameworks and roadmaps to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the Data Protection Strategist should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of global data protection regulations, including GDPR, Middle East Privacy Laws, and GAPP.
  • Experience working with IT/ITES/CSP sectors and data protection projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in cyber law, IT, computer science, software engineering, or data protection.
  • Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, and ISO 27701 LI are a plus.
