About this role:

This position is part of our engineering practice and will contribute to all areas of development and operations.

You will perform on-call support functions as needed and have a DevOps mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies
  • Perform engineering assignments using existing procedures and best practices
  • Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts
  • Work closely with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions
  • Provide an escalation point and participate in on-call support rotations
  • Actively monitor key metrics and report on trends

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture
  • 8-10 years of engineering experience
  • Able to learn and work quickly with new emerging technologies and solutions
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with programming languages such as Java and Python
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with application development frameworks like Spring Boot
  • Cloud technologies and services such as AWS Lambda and AWS S3
  • Data integration technologies such as Kafka
  • API based system design
  • Relational and no-sql databases such as Postgres and MongoDB
  • Containers and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes
  • CICD principals and tools like Gitlab and Datadog
  • Agile methodology and familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow
