As a Product Engineering Director, you will lead the development of new and emerging product lines.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish a robust product engineering process.

  • You will work closely with strategy, product, and business teams to create a product roadmap and drive execution.
  • As a thought leader and mentor, you will guide the architecture, design, and technical aspects of products.
  • You will identify and deploy tools, frameworks, techniques, and processes to enhance productivity and problem-solving capabilities of product engineers.
  • Responsibilities include product development, testing, deployment, and maintenance within agreed time frames.
  • You will own all non-functional requirements for products.
  • Contribute to selecting and hiring product engineering team members.
  • Responsible for full-stack product development and release, including architecture, design, development, and testing within agreed time frames.
  • Adapt and iterate quickly based on user and business feedback and metrics.

The ideal candidate has experience in PDCs (Product Development Companies), is well-versed in Agile software development and management methods, and adept at using off-the-shelf software components.

A strong background in JavaScript, TypeScript, and relevant front-end and back-end technologies is essential.

Experience with service-oriented architecture, observability tools, and NoSQL databases is also desirable.

Qualifications & Experience: BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree with 12 - 20 years of relevant experience.
