As Senior Director of Product Design, you will lead a team of talented designers and set the vision for user experience across our products.

You will be a key voice in the product leadership team, translating complex capabilities into clear experiences. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to ensure designs meet user needs and push boundaries with AI.

Responsibilities:

  • Design Strategy: Define and drive the holistic design vision for our products, ensuring consistent, high-quality user experiences.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, fostering creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Customer-Facing Influence: Engage in client discussions to shape design strategy, translating needs into actionable insights.
  • Design Operations: Establish streamlined design operations to support scale, consistency, collaboration, efficiency, and quality.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with leaders in product management, engineering, and data science to align on product strategy, goals, and roadmaps.
  • User Advocacy: Advocate for the user through research, testing, and feedback, ensuring design decisions are informed by user needs.
  • Design Systems: Maintain and establish a centralized design system with standards, patterns, and best practices for designing with AI.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company.
  • Proven experience leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features.
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
