Business Development Officer

As a Sales Officer at YES BANK, you will play a crucial role in introducing and acquiring new customers in the identified segment, generating references, and ensuring the sourcing of quality current accounts. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- To introduce and acquire new customers in the identified segment and generate references.
- To ensure the sourcing of quality current accounts in terms of product mix, segments, and constitution mix.
- To ensure initial customer handholding and M+1 activation, providing right advice on products and documentation, opening accounts within the specified timeframe, familiarizing customers with branch services and processes, monitoring welcome kit delivery, and following up on repeat funding and account usage for business transactions.
- To ensure proactive registration and activation of acquired customers to direct banking channels.
- To assist the Business Relationship Leader in catchment mapping and scoping exercises, providing regular feedback on opportunities, customer needs, and competition benchmarking.
- To meet and exceed defined targets of new customer acquisition month on month by analyzing transaction banking needs of customers.
- To adhere strictly to selling norms defined by the organization and guidelines by internal and external regulators.
- To ensure quality sourcing in line with the bank's policy.
- To adhere to sales processes and Know Your Customer (KYC) norms of the bank.
