Job Description for Hotel Operations Manager

Accor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that all departments work together seamlessly to provide exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the housekeeping department to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the front office and other departments to ensure seamless guest services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Train and guide staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel operations or a related field.
  • Degree or diploma in hotel management or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
ResponsibilitiesDepartmental Operations
  • Ensure daily housekeeping operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas.
  • Collaborate with the laundry and linen departments to ensure efficient operation.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent waste and minimize costs.
Guest Services
  • Ensure that guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction.
Team Management
  • Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff performance and productivity.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
