E-Commerce Manager Job Description

The E-commerce Manager will be responsible for driving and optimizing the company's direct-to-consumer (D2C) online sales channel through Shopify. This role involves overseeing digital marketing, website operations, customer experience, logistics coordination, and performance analytics to ensure consistent business growth and superior customer engagement.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage End-to-End Operations: Oversee the entire lifecycle of the Shopify platform, from product listing to order fulfillment.
  • Sales and Inventory Management: Improve sales inventory mechanisms, including Sales and Inventory KPIs, to maximize revenue and minimize stockouts.
  • Digital Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement various techniques to enhance conversion rates and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
  • Product Listing and Advertising: Ensure timely listing of new SKUs to capitalize on advertising and sales opportunities.
  • User Experience Enhancement: Collaborate with UI/UX teams to optimize the customer journey and drive improved engagement and user experience.
  • Inventory and Logistics Management: Work closely with inventory and logistics teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and adequate stock availability.
  • Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and initiate restocking processes as required to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and marketing campaign performance to generate actionable insights.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and present reports using Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, CRM platforms, VWO, and other analytical tools.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Shopify Management: 4-8 years of proven expertise in managing Shopify and scaling online sales in overseas markets.
  • CRO, SEO, and Customer Retention: Strong understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and customer retention strategies.
  • Digital Marketing Tools: Hands-on knowledge of digital marketing and analytics tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4).
  • Basic HTML/CSS Knowledge: Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Mindset: A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset is required to drive business growth and improve customer engagement.
