Our organization is seeking a skilled Underwriting Specialist to join its team.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess 3.5+ years of relevant underwriting experience and a thorough understanding of the credit assessment framework, including Character, Capacity, Capital, and Collateral.

  • Evaluate borrower profiles based on the credit assessment framework.
  • Conduct a comprehensive Credit Report Review for accurate risk evaluation.
  • Work on both UK Mortgage and US Mortgage underwriting.

You will be responsible for performing Live Underwriting with complete end-to-end case ownership, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and decision-making.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.5 years of underwriting experience (Live / End-to-End).
  • Experience in the UK Mortgage process or the US Mortgage underwriting.
  • Strong knowledge of Credit Report Review, DTI, LTV, PITI, Income & Asset calculations.
