Mortgage Origination

The Mortgage Origination Manager oversees the end-to-end value chain of US Home Loan products, directing day-to-day management, attendance, training, hiring, recruiting, and performance reviews for all team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily operations, employee management, training, recruitment, and performance assessments for the mortgage origination team.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and industry compliance requirements, including RESPA/TRID review.
  • Collaborate professionally with title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and lenders to ensure successful closings.
  • Enhance customer service by assisting with applications, overseeing mortgage loan closings, and expediting post-closing tasks.
  • Guarantee quality control and future salability of residential mortgage loans and refinances by adhering to lender underwriting guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 6-8 years' experience in mortgage origination (post-closing review, PQA) and correspondent experience (end-to-end value chain) in US Home Loan products.
  • Working knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and TRID guidelines.
  • Leadership experience in human resources or operations management is essential.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong supervision, organization, and mathematical skills.
  • Detailed attention and sound judgment skills are necessary for quick decision-making within established policies and procedures.
