Role Overview: Senior Lawyer

As a Senior Lawyer at Tigde Law Firm, you will be at the forefront of redefining legal strategy. You won't just represent clients, you'll architect cutting-edge legal solutions that set new benchmarks. Leading complex litigation cases, you'll craft innovative legal strategies and oversee the creation of next-level legal documents that combine precision with efficiency. Your advisory expertise will shape decisions across real estate, corporate, civil and regulatory sectors, directly impacting business growth and legal outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

The candidate must be prepared to travel as required, ensuring effective legal advocacy and seamless client service wherever the matter demands.

Drafting Excellence

Create robust legal documents with clarity, precision, and legal authority:

Write Petitions, Summary Suits, Civil Applications, Appeals, POAs, Rejoinders, Chamber Summons, Affidavits, Legal Notices, Agreements (Sale, Lease, Development, Employment, NDAs, etc.), Counter Claims and Consent Terms.

Review junior drafts, ensure accuracy, and maintain consistency with legal frameworks and firm tone.

Ensure documents are court-ready, compliant, and strategically structured.

Litigation Management

Appear and argue in matters across the High Court, Civil and Sessions Courts, Magistrate Courts, Family Court, Consumer Forum, Co-operative Cour and specialized Tribunals.

Manage end-to-end litigation including strategizing, filing, evidence prep, pleadings and cross-examination.

Handle property disputes, recovery suits, contract enforcement, succession matters and commercial litigation.

Client Advisory & Strategy

Advise clients on complex legal issues involving property law, corporate law, compliance and contractual risk.

Provide strategic counsel on land titles, mortgages, regulatory conflicts and transactional legalities.

Build and maintain long-term client relationships through effective communication and solution-driven legal thinking.

Legal Research & Compliance

Conduct in-depth research on statutes, case law, precedents, and industry standards.

Maintain a legal knowledge base and track developments in real estate, consumer protection, and corporate litigation.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

Supervise junior advocates and interns, review work, guide research and train on court procedure and client handling.

Assist in knowledge transfer and promote legal best practices across the team.

Internal Collaboration & Business Enablement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, tech, strategy) to deliver holistic legal solutions.

Contribute to client onboarding, pitch decks, legal product development, and process innovation.

Who we are looking for:

Qualified Legal Professional: LLB required; LLM preferred. Must be enrolled with the Bar Council of India and hold a valid Sanad/AIB/License.

Experienced Practitioner: Minimum 15-18 years of hands-on litigation, Non Litigation and legal drafting experience, especially in civil, property, and contractual matters.

Exceptional Drafter: Demonstrated expertise in preparing high-value legal documents, pleadings, and contracts.

Courtroom Confident: Proven ability to independently argue cases and manage litigation lifecycles.

Team Player & Leader: Experience in leading legal teams, mentoring juniors, and managing stakeholders.

Client-Focused: Strong interpersonal and advisory skills to manage high-profile clients.

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with legal databases (SCC Online, Manupatra), court filing systems, MS Office, and digital documentation tools.

Compensation

There is no bar on salary. The compensation will be decided based on the candidate's experience and knowledge.
