Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Expert Credit Risk Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing consulting engagements with financial institutions, developing and implementing credit risk models, and providing expertise on loan products and their characteristics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage consulting engagements with leading financial institutions, covering areas such as credit risk model development, ECL computation, and default rate analysis.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of banking, insurance, and corporate products, including wholesale loans, auto loans, personal loans, mortgage finance, and education loans.
  • Develop and implement statistical methods, including regression models and Markov chains, to analyze default rates and recovery rates.
  • Design and monitor detailed project plans for assigned engagements and lead hiring and mentoring initiatives to upskill execution and delivery teams.
  • Directly report and provide updates to business unit leaders on ongoing engagements.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in credit risk modeling, ECL computation, and default rate analysis.
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing statistical methods for credit risk analysis.
  • Familiarity with loan products, including wholesale loans, auto loans, personal loans, mortgage finance, and education loans.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
