Job Overview: As a Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality proposals that meet the needs of US federal opportunities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights and develop compelling content that highlights our organization's strengths.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders to identify key requirements and opportunities.
  • Develop and edit proposal content that is clear, concise, and compliant with federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather inputs and ensure accuracy.
  • Create and maintain compliance matrices to ensure all submissions meet solicitation requirements.
  • Manage the proposal development lifecycle, including reviews, deadlines, and final submission.
  • Maintain a library of past performance, resumes, and reusable proposal content.
  • Proofread, format, and standardize documents for consistency and compliance.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience writing proposals for US federal government contracts.
  • Strong understanding of the federal acquisition process (FAR/DFAR) and its implications.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • US citizenship or work authorization required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • APMP certification or Shipley methodology training, demonstrating expertise in proposal development.
  • Experience supporting proposals across multiple industries, such as IT, staffing, healthcare, logistics, professional services, etc.
  • Familiarity with proposal tools like Loopio or RFPIO, streamlining the proposal process.
