US IT Staffing Business Development Role

We seek a seasoned professional with deep knowledge of the US IT Contingent Staffing landscape to identify, target and develop new business opportunities within mid-sized to large enterprises.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate leads through strategic outreach, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers such as Hiring Managers, Procurement Managers, and HR executives.
  • Understand client requirements and work with the recruitment team to deliver qualified IT contingent resources.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and report progress to leadership.
  • Collaborate with the delivery/recruiting team to ensure timely and quality candidate submissions.
  • Stay updated on market trends, client needs, and competitor strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales within the US IT Staffing industry (Contingent Staffing focus).
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new clients and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong existing network of clients, prospects, and industry contacts in the US.
  • Deep understanding of the US staffing and hiring lifecycle, VMS/MSP processes, and vendor engagement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and a hunter mentality.
