About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven professional to lead our sports sponsorship vertical. This role will be responsible for building strategic partnerships, driving sponsorship revenues, and ensuring long-term value creation for both partners and the organization.

This position requires a strong network within the sports ecosystem, deep understanding of sponsorship sales, and the ability to deliver creative, data-backed solutions that align brand objectives with sports properties.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing large sponsorship deals and managing key client relationships, with excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Sales
  • Identify, pitch, and secure sponsorship opportunities across sporting events, leagues, and athletes.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential partners from diverse industries.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value sponsorship deals.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors and partners, ensuring strong relationships and repeat business.
  • Understand partner objectives and deliver integrated solutions that maximize ROI.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Develop and implement the sponsorship sales strategy in line with organizational goals.
  • Work closely with marketing, activation, and operations teams to deliver successful sponsorship campaigns.
  • Monitor performance of sponsorships and provide reports, insights, and recommendations for future optimization.
  • Market Intelligence & Innovation
  • Create innovative sponsorship packages, activations, and engagement opportunities to enhance value proposition.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7–12 years of experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, or business development, preferably in the sports, media, or entertainment sector.
  • Proven track record of closing large sponsorship deals and managing key client relationships.
  • Strong network of decision-makers across industries.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to design impactful sponsorship solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure ROI and present insights.
  • Prior experience in PR, corporate communications, or marketing will be an added advantage.
