Job Opportunity: Technical Trainer and Curriculum Developer

Job Description:

The role of the Assistant Director - Technical Trainer for a university's Computer Science Engineering (CSE) department focuses on upskilling students in key technical areas.

Key Responsibilities include designing, conducting, and evaluating advanced training modules in Data Structures & Algorithms, Database Management Systems, Network Operating Systems, and competitive programming platforms like Hackerrank, Leetcode, and Codechef.

The successful candidate will provide coaching sessions, workshops, and contests to prepare students for industry placements and coding competitions. Additionally, they will create custom training content, manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules on the latest practices in computer science and coding platforms.

A critical aspect of this role is assessing training effectiveness through coding assessments, analytics from online platforms, trainee feedback, and maintaining records for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will also provide ongoing coaching, problem-solving assistance, and career mentoring related to competitive programming and technical interviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong expertise in DSA, DBMS, NOS, competitive programming (Hackerrank, Leetcode, Codechef), and relevant languages such as C++ and Python.
  • At least a B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or related disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for delivering engaging technical workshops.
  • Proven experience in curriculum development, training evaluation, and technical mentorship, preferably within higher education.
  • At least 12 years of professional experience in a technical training or relevant programming role.
Preferred Expertise:
  • Certifications in instructional design or related technical domains.
  • Familiarity with modern e-learning platforms and/or experience managing LMS tools.
  • Demonstrated competitive programming success or mentorship experience (Hackerrank, Leetcode, Codechef).
