We are seeking an experienced Kafka administrator to join our team.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires at least 5 years of experience in managing large-scale Kafka clusters on-premises and in the cloud.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage high-performance Kafka clusters to meet business requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as upgrades, patches, and disaster recovery planning to ensure the security, availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of Kafka clusters.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and optimization strategies to achieve optimal cluster performance.
  • Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to provide expertise on Kafka-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and best practices for Kafka administration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing large-scale Kafka clusters.
  • Strong knowledge of IBM MQ or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, and ServiceNow.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
