Business Development Role - An Overview
The role of a Business Development Representative is multifaceted and demanding, requiring exceptional communication skills to identify new business opportunities and engage with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Engage in targeted telemarketing efforts to introduce and explain the product or solutions to be promoted.
- Appointment Setting: Identify interested individuals and set up appointments for further discussions and negotiations.
- Market Focus: Primarily focus on calling companies within the UAE market with occasional calls to KSA.
- Lead Generation: Develop and maintain high levels of productivity to meet targets and drive revenue growth.
Requirements:
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills in English are essential for effective engagement with clients.
- Telemarketing Experience: Prior experience in telemarketing, particularly in IT products, will be highly valued.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with IT products and technologies will be an advantage in this role.
- Excel Skills: Basic knowledge of Excel for reporting purposes is required.
- Productivity: The ability to maintain high productivity, generate substantial leads, and achieve daily call and closure targets is crucial.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in Telemarketing: At least 1-2 years of proven experience in a telemarketing role, ideally within the IT sector, is desirable.
