Job Overview

The Business Finance Manager serves as a strategic link between the finance function and other departments, driving business growth while optimizing costs.

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Instamart's business, consumers, categories, and functions.
  • Analyze P&L and revenue metrics to inform financial decisions and planning.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to manage day-to-day P&L and drive growth.
  • Design processes for new initiatives and improve existing ones, focusing on governance and cost leakage.
  • Prepare, manage, and publish business scorecards.
  • Effectively manage stakeholders and work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct weekly reviews with business stakeholders and provide ad-hoc analysis as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CA/MBA/B.Tech degree
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience post-qualification
  • Strong Excel/Google sheet skills and good business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in financial modeling and PowerPoint skills
  • Desirable: Previous experience as a business finance partner, preferably in start-up/Retail environments
  • A self-motivated individual who can take ownership of deliverables with minimal direction and develop new approaches to business problems
  • A continuous improvement attitude and fast learning ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of SQL is beneficial
