Senior Culinary Manager Position
Job Summary:
- Lead a team of culinary professionals in the production of high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement recipes that showcase creativity and consistency in flavor and presentation.
- Coordinate and supervise kitchen staff, assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities to achieve optimal performance.
- Maintain production levels, recommend improvements, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Prepare requisitions, inspect deliveries, and report discrepancies to management.
- Oversee all kitchen sections, maintaining public health standards and conducting HACCP programs.
- Ensure the kitchen is prepared for inspections and adheres to company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage costs, maintain records, reports, supplies, and equipment.
- Identify expense reductions through cost control and analyze operational problems.
- Review timesheets, prepare reports, and letters using a personal computer system.
- Conduct workstation spot checks to minimize deterioration and waste.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship environment.
- Culinary school degree required, with strong management skills in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Superior customer service, team-building, and conflict resolution skills.
