Skyroot Aerospace is a pioneering space technology company developing cutting-edge launch vehicles for the small-satellite market. As we prepare for our maiden orbital launch, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to drive revenue growth and partnerships in this exciting field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a multi-year commercial launch sales strategy with clear targets for revenue, backlog, and margins.
- IDentify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with satellite operators, manufacturers, space agencies, and rideshare aggregators.
- Prioritize customer engagements from requirements capture to proposal preparation and negotiation of Launch Service Agreements (LSAs).
- Manage a robust opportunity pipeline in CRM, prepare accurate forecasts, and provide executive briefings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline; Master's in Engineering or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in B2B technical sales or business development, with at least 5 years selling high-value hardware or services in space-related sectors.
- Prior international experience is essential.
- A proven track record of closing complex, cross-border contracts.
