Job Description

The role of Financial Analyst – Finance for Services involves supporting the strategic and operational financial objectives of a services organization. This position is responsible for delivering accurate financial analysis, contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring data integrity and truth.

  • Collaborate with the business to update financial forecasts, including revenue projections, cost profiles, and subsequent margin projections.
  • Perform variance analysis of actual results to forecast and budget.
  • Assist in developing executive-level reporting packages, including presentations and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial modeling and analyses to support various business challenges and inform decision-making.
  • Cross-functionally drive change with stakeholders through data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or business analytics, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to build relationships with business stakeholders and establish themselves as a Finance partner.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting principles, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
  • Communication: Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate financial insights.
