Lead Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

The role of Lead Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Specialist involves spearheading the delivery of timely divisional analytics packs with actionable insights. This specialist will oversee service delivery as per defined SLAs with business divisions, drive FP&A transformation initiatives to simplify, automate, and optimize planning & analysis tasks, and collaborate with divisional finance teams to understand business dynamics and their financial impact.

This key role entails leading annual planning by collaborating with multiple stakeholders, coordinating close and forecast activities, system loads, result analysis, and preparing content for senior leadership reviews. Additionally, the specialist will develop sustainable content for monthly business reviews (MBRs) and deliver deep-dive financial analytics for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of analysts to ensure timely delivery of divisional analytics packs with actionable insights.
  • Own service delivery as per defined SLAs with business divisions.
  • Drive FP&A transformation initiatives to simplify, automate, and optimize planning & analysis tasks.
  • Partner with divisional finance teams to understand business dynamics and their financial impact.
  • Lead annual planning by collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Coordinate close and forecast activities, system loads, result analysis, and prepare content for senior leadership reviews.
  • Develop sustainable content for monthly business reviews (MBRs) and deliver deep-dive financial analytics for decision-making.

Requirements:

  • CA qualification (mandatory) with 12+ years of post-CA Finance experience.
  • Relevant FP&A expertise, ideally within the FMCG sector.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Strong financial and commercial reporting knowledge.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.
