Financial Management Specialist

About the Role:

This is a senior-level accounting position that requires a high degree of expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, procedures, and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow to ensure timely payments and optimize financial performance.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Management: Oversee the receipt and processing of cash receipts from banking transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Accounts Payable: Manage vendor invoices, payment schedules, and reconcile discrepancies between billing and accounting systems.
  • Account Reconciliation: Investigate and resolve unallocated cash receipts by coordinating with customers or internal teams.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in an accounting or finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
