Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to manage our organization's entire accounting function. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong core accounting skills to join our team and take ownership of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records, ensuring timely completion of day-to-day accounting tasks.
  • Efficiently handle sales, purchase entries, and billing transactions.
  • Prepare and manage GST reconciliation and filing.
  • Ensure the timely preparation and finalization of Balance Sheets.
  • Manage statutory compliances, including TDS, PF, EPS, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
  • Utilize Bizzy Accounting Software for all accounting tasks, leveraging its features to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, with a track record of delivering high-quality results in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Hands-on experience with Bizzy software or similar accounting tools, with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferably residing in or near Kottayam, India.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA Inter or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong background in financial management.
