Job Overview

As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for leading complex financial analyses and developing robust financial models to support high-level decision-making.

About the Role
  • You will work closely with senior team members to drive engagement activity and provide mentorship and guidance as needed.
  • Your primary focus will be on the valuation of businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for various financial reporting purposes.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze historical financial and operating results of target companies to explain business trends and identify risks.
  2. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and industry trends.
  3. Build, analyze, and review financial models using Excel to inform high-level decision-making.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective solutions to complex financial problems.
  5. Present analytical findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and external clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of demonstrated experience performing work related to fair value of debt, equity, purchase price allocation, and/or goodwill impairments.
  • Strong technical skills working with financial models in Excel and experience with financial databases such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and industry trends.
