Senior Manager - Costing and MIS Expert

This role offers the opportunity to lead our Management Information Systems (MIS) and costing functions, driving accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to support strategic decision-making, cost control, and operational efficiency.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of efficient MIS processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across all locations.
  • Develop and generate regular MIS reports, including consolidated financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and management dashboards.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure MIS systems meet business needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend new MIS technologies and solutions for implementation.
  • Maintain documentation of MIS processes and procedures.
  • Closely monitor budget performance against actual results, analyzing variances and providing explanations to senior management.
  • Coordinate the consolidation of regional and departmental budgets into a company-wide budget.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in product costing and plant operations.
  • Prepare detailed cost reviews, analyzing trends, variances, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies across all entities.
  • Assist in developing and implementing audit recommendations.
  • Support the development of business cases for new investments and projects.
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ICWA) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in cost accounting, MIS management, and budget coordination in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strongly preferred: Experience in the FMCG food industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills.
