Job Title: Chief Cost Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience in the EPC industry, holding a CWA/CMA certification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough cost analysis and control for large-scale EPC projects.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on project costs, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
  • Prepare detailed variance reports, identifying causes of deviations between budgeted and actual costs.
  • Validate petty cash and non-PO based expenses, assess suppliers, advance payments, and credit facilities.
Other Key Responsibilities:
  • Track progress and update percentage-of-completion calculations as per IFRS 15.
  • Provide regular insights and reports on cost performance, profit margins, and project cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and financial regulations.
  • Conduct audits to ensure accurate cost allocation to projects and phases.
  • Work with procurement to control material and service costs.
  • Implement strategies to minimize waste and cost.
  • Identify potential risks related to project costs and recommend cost reduction strategies.
  • Track, record, and monitor fixed assets at the project site.
  • Prepare regular financial and cost reports, analyzing project expenses and forecasting costs.
Required Skills:
  • Familiarity with IFRS standards (IFRS 15, IFRS 9, IFRS 16, and IAS 16).
  • Understanding of EPC project lifecycle, cost drivers, and risks.
  • Technical proficiency in project management and accounting software (SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong analytical skills in cost analysis, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Effective communication skills to present cost information to management.
