
Business Development Specialist

This role involves identifying and acquiring new customers for LAP (Loan Against Property) through direct sales and partnerships with other businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lending norms, financials, and property documents.
Key Responsibilities- Source and acquire new LAP customers via direct sales and partnerships.
- Evaluate client eligibility, assess their financial situation, and review property documents.
- Gather leads through targeted marketing efforts, in-person visits, and networking events.
- Collaborate with credit and operations teams to facilitate loan processing and disbursement.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and optimize conversion rates.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional post-disbursal service.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Degree in any field.
- 1–6 years of experience in secured loans sales (preferably LAP or Mortgage).
- Strong knowledge of lending regulations and documentation requirements.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingsness to travel extensively.
