**Job Overview**:
As the General Manager - Commercial, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement process for edible oil, packaging materials, and machinery. Your primary focus will be to ensure the timely sourcing of high-quality raw materials and equipment at competitive prices while maintaining strong supplier relationships. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with production schedules and quality standards, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Strategy Development**: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- **Supplier Relationship Management**: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring reliable and cost-effective supply of edible oil, packaging materials, and machinery. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- **Cost Optimization**: Continuously identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in procurement processes. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to maximize value for the company.
- **Quality Assurance**: Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure that all procured materials and equipment meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- **Inventory Management**: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and machinery components, balancing supply and demand to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Implement inventory control measures to optimize working capital.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with production, logistics, and finance teams to coordinate procurement activities and support seamless operations. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and address any procurement-related issues.
- **Market Research and Analysis**: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies related to edible oil, packaging, and machinery. Conduct regular market analysis to identify new suppliers, products, and opportunities for innovation.
- **Risk Management**: Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement, including supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and quality issues. Develop contingency plans to minimize the impact of potential disruptions on operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in the food processing or manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
- Solid understanding of procurement best practices, contract management, and supply chain optimization techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software systems.

Pay: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
