We are seeking a seasoned Digital Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive business growth through strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling up business operations and a strong background in digital media sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead the sales team in acquiring new clients.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and effectively manage the sales cycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, advertising agencies, and media buyers.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored advertising solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to the senior management team.
  • Make recommendations for sales strategies and process improvements based on market insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, editorial, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in digital media sales, advertising & branded content.
  • Demonstrated experience in scaling up business operations.
  • Prior experience as profit centre head is desired.
  • Seasoned and successful leader, preferably with experience in a major & complex industry or organization in a competitive market segment.
  • Carry good business acumen to help with the growth of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Should be target-oriented.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • A good people manager to ensure everyone is motivated.

Candidates currently residing in Mumbai are preferred.
