The role of International Relations Director entails leading our global outreach initiatives, positioning the organisation as a premier representative in the international arena.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute our international strategy to enhance global economic influence.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with foreign governments, multilateral organizations, and global chambers to advance trade and investment opportunities.
  • Drive programs for market access, investment facilitation, and international business cooperation to deliver tangible outcomes.
  • Ensure global engagements align with national priorities and reinforce domestic economic objectives.
  • Identify revenue streams through collaborations, sponsorships, and projects to ensure financial sustainability of international initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in international relations, public policy, economics, or related field. PhD or equivalent international policy exposure is preferred.
  • Total of 25-30 years of progressive leadership experience in trade, diplomacy, global economic policy, or senior roles in government/industry bodies with extensive international exposure.
  • Expertise in international trade, investment, and diplomacy. Strong policy and advocacy background. Broad knowledge of global economic issues.
  • Visionary leadership with deep knowledge of international trade and diplomacy. Strong diplomatic, negotiation, influencing, and consensus-building skills. Wide international network across governments, industry associations, and multilateral institutions. Excellent public speaking and cross-cultural communication skills. High credibility, gravitas, and ability to influence global economic policy.
