About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Executive to lead our procurement, logistics, and trade operations.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented professional to oversee the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring efficient import of raw materials and export of finished goods.
The successful candidate will develop and implement procurement strategies, identify and onboard global suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality, sustainability, and regulatory standards.
In addition to managing the supply chain, this role involves overseeing import and export operations, including customs clearance, transportation planning, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Sourcing and Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-quality global suppliers, negotiating contracts that meet business needs.
- Import and Export Management: Oversee all aspects of import and export operations, ensuring timely customs clearance, cost-effective transportation, and compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
- Logistics and Distribution: Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including warehouse and inventory management, to ensure smooth transportation of raw materials and finished goods.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, and international trade in a manufacturing environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
Skills:
- Negotiation and Vendor Management: Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with expertise in global sourcing and customs regulations.
- Supply Chain Management: Hands-on experience with ERP and supply chain management software, knowledge of INCOTERMS, trade finance, and international shipping documentation.
- Leadership and Team Development: Ability to lead and optimize global supply chain operations, build and lead a high-performing supply chain team, and foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and innovation.
